2010 Best Tasting Drinking Water Contest
Our Region XI Best Tasting Drinking Water Contest was held on March 16th at the University of Florida TREEO Center.

The City of Ocala was announced as the winner.

2009-2010 AECOM's Water/Wastewater Academic Design Competition
A team from the University of Florida won first prize in AECOM’s 2009-2010 Water/Wastewater Academic Design Competition, which marks the second consecutive year the university has won the award. For more details - click here

2009 Annual Model Water Tower Competition (MWTC

On December 5, 2009, Region XI and the University of Florida Student Chapter of AWWA hosted our 3rd Annual Model Water Tower Competition at Westwood Middle School. Middle school students, their families and friends gathered together to compete in this fun event as students became engineers for the day. The creativity and ingenuity showcased in this year’s event is a promising sign for the future of the water profession! Region XI would like to thank all of the students, teachers, and volunteers who make this event so fun and exciting each year.
