All water systems use fire hydrants for fire protection. It is critical that they operate properly.

This teleconference is a hands-on approach to the necessity of understanding
hydrants and developing, implementing, and maintenance programs. Hydrant
manufacturers will present features relating to the effective maintenance of their products, and an employee of a municipal water provider will review O&M program development and the importance of operations and maintenance of these vital system components.
