Water Quality and Resources Division
About Us
We are a Division of the FSAWWA Technical and Education Council committed to providing continuing-education opportunities to Florida’s water professionals. We accomplish this by providing valuable workshops and technical tracks at the Florida Water Resources Conference, and the FSAWWA Annual Fall Conference. We also travel around the state serving FSAWWA Regions by providing workshops, as well as technical presentations at FSAWWA Regional meetings.
Our technical focus is water quality (drinking water and water in its natural environment), and water resources (including water supply planning, reuse, and management). Our current membership includes a diverse group of water professionals who are leaders in the industry they serve:
- Water Management District Professionals
- Public Utility Professionals
- Drinking Water Quality Experts
- Environmental Scientists
- Professional Geologists
- Professional Engineers
- Consultants
We are here to serve you; please let us know if you are interested in a workshop in your region.

There’s no such thing as too many members! There’s no such thing as being too diverse! Whether you are a highly-experience professional, or just getting started in your water career, please join us! We understand that your available time to participate in professional organizations is limited; you will not be pressured to volunteer more time than you have to offer. This is a great opportunity to network with other water professionals, to share your knowledge, and gain insight from others.
If you're interested in joining us, please send a message to the Division’s Secretary, Nick Makris!
